The Door Supervisor training allows an individual to work in the security industry as both a door supervisor and as a security guard. It is one of the most popular security training courses available. The SIA Door Supervisor license allows an individual to work in all the premises that a security guard can work in and also in premises that offer entertainment and alcohol, for example nightclubs, casinos, hotel, pubs etc!

1)How much is the exam fee and when do I pay for it?
£40.00, payment should be made on your 1st day in class
2)What types of SIA license are there?
There are two: Frontline and Non-Frontline. Frontline means being directly involved with members of the public/customers visiting the premises. Whereas Non-Frontline is more to do with managing, supervising, or controlling the frontline officers.
2). Who needs an SIA license?
Anyone working in the security industry who provides contract security services.
3). Why should I do this course?
To work as a Security Guard, Door Supervisor or CCTV Operator in the UK you must hold a SIA Licence. The Security industry Act 2001 made it an offence for anyone to work or supply a Security Officer under contract without a SIA Security Licence.
4). What are your course fees?

5). What is the difference between Security Guarding and Door Supervision?
Door supervisors are responsible for security, protection or screening the suitability of persons entering LICENSED premises or dealing with conflict in Pubs, Night Clubs and other licensed premises open to the public, including Cinemas, Football Stadia, and Theatres etc. However, Door Supervisors can legally perform security guarding roles in non licensed premises. On the other hand, Security Guards are responsible for security in non-licensed premises, such as buildings, office blocks, retail sites, construction sites, security receptions and other non licensed premises.
6). What is PSS CCTV?
PSS CCTV course: A Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence is required when manned guarding activities are carried out through the use of television equipment to: – monitor the activities of a member of the public in a public or private place; or – identify a particular person.
7). Do I require any previous qualification or training to enrol?
There is NO requirement for any previous qualification or experience. However you must be 18 years or over.
8). How long will it take to complete the SIA Security Training course and what is the timing?
Training starts at 10am and finishes at 6 pm. Door Supervision and CCTV are carried out within 4 days, whilst Security Guarding can be completed in 3 days.
9). On completion of the training, when do I receive my certificate?
Your certificate arrives by post within 7-10 working days of completing the training and you can apply for SIA licence immediately.
10). What do I do when I receive my certificate?
When you apply for SIA licence it can take up to 3 weeks to receive your SIA Security licence aka badge.
11). Do you help in job search?
Yes. As soon as you receive your SIA licence send us an email and we will refer you to our partners. We also pride ourselves on offering career advise if it is needed.
12). I am not fluent in English Language, can I pass this course?
The course is very easy to follow and understand. So there will be no problem where language is concerned.
13). What is our Pass Rate and what happens if you fail?
We have approximately 98% pass rate. If you fail, you are given a free re-sit.
